It rained all through the night (on and off) but after we finished breakfast it cleared up a little bit and our patience was awarded with an almost rain-free visit to the Pancake Rocks.
Unfortunately, the sea was too calm to make the blowholes blow :(
Next on our stop was a seal colony at Tauranga Bay. A short walk took us to a viewing platform from which we could see and smell the seals as they were flopping and splashing about.
The rest of the day was spent driving to Tutaki, where we had booked another AirBnB in the middle of nowhere. We spent some time walking around in their garden (it was big) and then quickly hid inside as the flies became to annoying. This was the view for the day.
