Well... today kinda sucked.
But the views during the day were fantastic. First stop was at the Blue Pools - a quick walk to ... some really blue pools :)
It was a long day of driving and we're having a lot of trouble getting Drew to sleep in the car. We feel like we tried everything today, the 30min of sleep that he did have was brought about by a 5min walk in the carrier and a sneaky transfer into the car after visiting this nice place.
But alas that sleep was cut short when we were stopped for road works for half an hour.
We did a great hike out to Fox glacier, but then Drew fell asleep in the 15min from there to our accommodation... at 5pm. And then ofcourse was running around the room (in a backpackers!) like a mad man till 10pm. Some days we wonder if we've bitten off more than we can chew.
But we still managed to smile for the photos.
