Found some time to write a short post.
We arrived in Auckland 5 days ago. Our pre-arranged accommodation is great (Thanks Lizzy!) and it's less than 2km from Lizzy's work or 2.5km going past daycare.
We have two bed-rooms and our own bathroom/toilet. Our host Kathy and her daughter are very nice and welcoming and they helped so much already.
Weekend 1 was buying food, a mattress, a chest of drawers and shopping for cars. Here's the photo-worthy result:

Tuesday was Lizzy's first day at work and my first day with the little wiggler. All in all no problems. Today is already routine :)
Oh, and of course, we went for a quick walk around Point England - it was a bit wet but a nice walk :)
