It looks like the weather isnt going to be too good this weekend (and we have lunch plans for saturday) so we decided to adventure today (Thursday). Also the weather was too good to stay inside!
Mission Bay is only 10 min drive north of where we're living.
It's one of the most popular beaches in Auckland, with lots of places to eat and an easy walk way that goes all along the coast.
The views are fantastic, looking out over to Rangitoto island and to Auckland city to the North.
We stopped for burgers for lunch, but mine got snapped up by one of these huge pacific gulls!
And as an added bonus, we finally got Drew to have some sleep :)
