Ok, we've been super lazy since we got back from NZ and a lot of things happened, a LOT. This is a very brief summary.
During our time in NZ, we were both offered jobs in Sydney; jobs we couldn't resist - neither of us. So we decided to rent out our home in Perth and move again to the city of opportunities in August. But first we needed to upgrade our ride, so we bought this (we call him Flitzer).
Packed full with all our belongings, Tom hit the road and Lizzy, Drew and the fuzzers took the plane. We had one week to find a new home before Tom started work at a start-up some of his friends founded. About the same time Drew started at his daycare, which is a bilingual German/English daycare. Lizzy started at the Macquarie Uni the following week.
Since then we've had quite a busy time. After settling into our new rental apartment right across the road from Lizzy's uni, we caught up with old friends and made a few new ones. In the following months we hosted both of our parents and a few other people.
Thanks to combined efforts including Tom's parents Drew's German is coming along great - so is his English :) He is a kind, happy, and hilarious kid (in between tantrums). Here's a snippet of creative time from earlier today.
